We are in search of a Loan Specialist I or Loan Specialist II to join our California Lending and Insurance team in Hanford, California. This full-time position reports to the SVP, Portfolio Manager and is accountable for in-office credit-related processing, loan file management, accounting and customer account maintenance.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.

Compensation Information

The base salary range for this position is:

Level I $42,000 - $61,000; bonus at target is 6% of salary

Level II $46,000 - $69,000; bonus at target is 6% of salary

Job Requirements

  • Support lending staff in the management of customer relationships by processing transactions, resolving account customer issues, and providing administrative support.
  • Support lenders and customers in their credit requests by completing loan packages, maintaining accurate loan file documentation, preparing reports and ordering loan and lease documents.
  • Provide support to meet customer needs and enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage information flow among loan officers, credit analysts, documentation staff, accounting staff, appraisal teams, title companies, and customers.
  • Complete accurate and compliant work, with attention to numbers, calculations, details, and deadlines.
  • Must maintain a notary public license.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic analytical and statistical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various formats
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Basic interpersonal, collaboration, communication, team building, problem solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office applications
  • Read, write and present general business information

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in commercial lending, banking or related field
  • General knowledge of applicable credit laws, regulations, documentation and compliance requirements
  • General knowledge of agricultural practices
