POSITION SUMMARY:
Full Time - M-F 8a-5p
The purpose of this position is to perform daily office administrative duties and provide backup support as needed in accordance with the current established procedures, and as directed by the Administrator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform essential functions satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation; including, but not limited to:
- Maintain the Vision exception link to ensure that information is timely and correct
- Verify incoming patient insurances, Primary and Secondary payer sources
- Receive co-pays from patients, if needed, upon Admission
- Resolve issues concerning resident’s eligibility with DHS and various other types of issues that concern financial approval of incoming residents
- Perform A/R Census Reconciliation on a weekly basis
- Assist payroll personnel with Resident Trust Account when needed
- Collect and receipt various monies received; manage bank deposits or forward monies to CBO as directed
- Assist with Medicaid billing
Required Work Experience:
- Two (2) years’ experience is preferred
- Accounting knowledge required
Licensing/Certification/Education Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Additional training is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Position may require unscheduled overtime, week-end work
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- Travel required
Physical Requirements:
- Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 25 pounds
