Yard Personnel

Ahern Rentals is looking for a Yard Person to build and break down orders, maintain the cleanliness of the yard and keep our rental equipment organized to minimize preparation time. This position handles equipment check-in, check-out and loading/unloading of delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities for Yard Person include but not limited to:

• Prepare equipment for rent by assembling, adjusting and calibrating orders and cleaning with power washer
• Perform daily equipment safety inspections
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment
• Provide customers basic training, as needed
• Stage equipment for deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of yard
• Ensures that all rental equipment is properly tagged and free of damage
• Other duties, as assigned by Management

Qualifications for Yard Person:

• Must have good organizational skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be customer service oriented
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Valid State issued Driver's License
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check
• Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)
