Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable individual for the Production Helper position. This position will be responsible for assisting the production line to create quality decorative stone products in our Cast Stone department. The ideal candidate will be able to lift 100 pounds and have a strong work ethic.

Wages

$13.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements

• Must have recent experience working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to lift and carry 50-100 pounds.
• Committed to quality, safety, and communication.
• Team-oriented and self-directed.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change based on work demands.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
• Good understanding of general warehouse duties.
• Must be 18 or older per OSHA.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job.
• Assist the production line with creating stone products.
• Separate models or patterns from molds and examine products for accuracy.
• Load and stack molds for drying and storage.
• Pour, pack, and spread material into or around models or molds.
• Measure and cut products to specific dimensions by using measuring and cutting instruments.
• Follow specified mixing instructions posted.
• Take directives from supervisor on which mixes and colors to prepare.
• Notify supervisor when mixes are ready for inspection.
• Purge mixers after batch is approved.
• Monitor inventory levels - sand, concrete sand, cement, additives.
• Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Read work orders to determine production specifications or information.
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
• Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
• Collect samples of materials or products for testing.
• Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using moving equipment or hand tools.
• Record operational or production data on specified forms.

• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company.

FLSA & Employment Status

• This is a full-time non-exempt hourly position that is eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours in a workweek.
• The hours of work and days for this position are Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
