Job Responsibilities
- This is a technical machine operator position involving assisting the machine tender, loading and unloading shafts, performing visuals, threading the machine, making and recording chemical mixes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Individual must be able to work independently, make sound decisions and perform the day-to-day operation of complex machinery and control systems
- Must understand basic math and perform calculations
Required Qualifications
- High mechanical aptitude – demonstrated and with examples
- At least one year of experience in manufacturing operations -
- Minimum of one year of Ahlstrom-Munksjo paper machine experience
- Availability for clothing changes, vacation and on-call coverage
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
