What are the responsibilities and job description for the P.T. Licensed Asst. position at AHMC Healthcare?
Physical Therapy Assistants shall provide quality patient care to assigned individuals under the direction of the physical therapist. Documentation of patient care activities is required in compliance with The Joint Commission. Assistants will be actively involved in training of aide staff, volunteer staff and physical therapy assistant students. Assistants may be assigned special projects such as quality control and data collection for performance improvement reports or other non-skilled tasks as assist the therapists. Assistants are expected to maintain professional relationships with patients and staff, abiding by the codes of ethical conduct.
- California State Board Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant or Applicant.
- Current C.P.R. Certification.
- Ability to read and write fluently and legibly in English.
