We’re hiring for a Home Health Clinical Educator to join our dynamic team. In partnership with Allegheny Health Network, AHN Healthcare@Home is an accredited recognized leader in Home Health and Hospice. We have immediate openings, call 888-444-3145.
Clinical Educator Responsibilities:
- Trains in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation techniques
- Communicates with Staff Development Manager & Specialists related to orientee’s completion of the field education guide
- Assists Staff Development Specialist in the development of orientee’s schedule to include scheduled visits with other departments in agency
- Educates orientee on how to develop and revise the plan of care in response to changes in the individual's status or response to care, and communicate and update physician and other disciplines
- Reviews charting expectation and computer documentation with new providers
- Instructs orientee in case management practices; organize daily assignments, setting priorities based on individual and overall needs of the clients
- Coordinates assistance from preceptors as necessary
- Mentors current employees with any identified learning need in day-to-day operations.
Clinical Educator Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related job in a Hospital or Healthcare Facility is required
- Minimum of two (2) years of Home Health and experience required
- Current RN License in the State where you will work
- CPR Certification required
- Prior Educational/Training experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of current Auto Insurance required
