Position Description:
The Case Manager is a key position that collects, analyzes, oversees, and manages personal injury cases. 5 to 10 years of experience doing personal injury case management
Position Duties:
- The Case Manager acts as a liaison between the lawyers, medical providers, and patients for personal injury cases.
- Collects, analyzes and oversees necessary documentation to adequately evaluate and manage cases
- Sound decision making to ensure proper case management for Personal Injury Patients.
- Ability to work with Executive Level Management.
- Ability to follow executive decisions after data analysis.
Position Expectations:
- Request missing data from patients.
- Collect data to review and analyze personal injury cases.
- Demonstrates sound decision making.
- Communicates with Practice Managers, Clinic Directors.
- Builds and maintains relations with Attorney’s, Case Manager’s, and Paralegals
- Accurately update and maintain client case information.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Utilize MS Office and Excel.
- Ability to utilize Case Manager and EHR platforms.
- Self-Starter
- Organized, Efficient, Professional.
Position Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years’ experience in a medical office with a focus on personal injury.
- Experience 5 years' as a case manager in a busy personal injury law firm.
- Possess excellent verbal, written, listening and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience with EHR (Electronic Health Records)
- Organized and able to effectively prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- MS Office, Excel, and EHR experience.
- Team oriented and able to work with various managers and team leaders.
- Ability to make sound decisions.
Position Miscellaneous:
- Physical Demands: frequent sitting. Occasional lifting 10-15 lbs., occasional stooping and bending. Long periods of uninterrupted sitting.
