What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Manager position at AiCure?
AiCure’s power is in our data; capturing behavioral input, confirming adherence, leveraging predictive models to support clinical research and patient understanding and even delivering novel digital biomarkers that provide scalable assessments of disease progression. The Data Manager will interface with external customers and help them understand and analyze AiCure’s data for their trials.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Main point of contact for clients related to data management activities including data transfer, data cleaning and final data delivery to clinical sites
- Run client meetings related to key data management activities including: review of key datapoints and best practices for cleaning and reconciliation, data transfer agreement review, and periodic data cleaning and reconciliation discussions
- Draft and review data-driven documentation like the data handling and transfer specification as well as client data-related documents as needed (Data Management Plan, etc.)
- Implement and ensure delivery of data transfers to external parties, including addressing issues, quality control review and manual uploads as needed
- Provide hands-on support to the data change process at AiCure, including review and approval of data change requests (DCRs) and clarifying questions or issues for clinical sites involved in the process
- Respond to client questions and listings regarding data reconciliation and data cleaning, including running meetings to support these efforts
- Improve process and efficiency for the Data Management team at AiCure to support scalability
Key experience for this role includes:
- 3 years direct knowledge and experience supporting data management activities in clinical trials, working at a CRO, pharmaceutical sponsor or as a vendor to the pharmaceutical R&D industry
- Full understanding of clinical data management processes, documentation and requirements
- Experience implementing and improving process for data management activities
- Knowledge putting together reports and listings that support data cleaning and analysis in clinical research and beyond
- Client-facing experience or comfort in communicating complex data concepts and information as well as handling escalated issues related to data management activities
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
