What you'll be doing:
Responsibilities are divided in to two main areas—Sales Engineering support of projects in the proposal stage and secondly Project Management of orders through installation and acceptance at the customer’s facility.
Sales Engineering responsibilities include: working with internal departments in developing scope, specifications, and costing for new potential projects; responsibility for vendor coordination on preparing turnkey proposals; supporting throughout the sales process via proposal development, customer application analysis, line functionality reviews, support of Sales personnel during customer visits, and travelling to customer installations.
Project Management responsibilities will include: assuming lead role in management of customer project from time of order acceptance through engineering, manufacturing, shipping, installation, and acceptance at the customer site. These functions include schedule management, resolution of change orders and technical issues, design reviews, vendor coordination and integration, installation management, training, and more.
Additionally, the associate will also be involved in other Sales and Marketing activities, including: trade show support, product demonstrations, customer die trials, technical seminars, and training for both external sales representatives and customers.
What you will need:
Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline preferred. Excellent interpersonal and management skills. Project management and customer service experience is required. Self-motivated individual seeking to take on increasing responsibility.
