AHF is currently seeking a Community Outreach and Partnership Development Intern to work full-time (30 hours per week) that will start on June 10th through August 30th. The program will provide insight for students who have interest in the field of Public Health, Social Work, Political Science or Marketing. This position is paid $10.50 hourly.
This is a full-time, in-person Summer Internship! Must be able to start on June 6, 2024 and the internship ends on August 30, 2024.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm (3 days in office and 2 days remote)
A Community Outreach Intern contributes to AHF's mission by researching and connecting to high impact communities. Their responsibilities will include understanding and communicating statistics and research to targeted communities. Their work will be to deliver AHF’s mission to providing Cutting Edge Medicine and Advocacy Regardless of Ability to Pay.
The ultimate goal of this internship is to advocate for communities the organization is connecting with and provide said communities with services and programming geared towards HIV/AIDS education, testing and advocacy.
The Community Outreach and Partnership Development Intern adds consistent value to the advocacy team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being efficient, but most of all bringing new and fresh ideas to the table to engage and support the AHF Southern Bureau community.
