Make your mark in Travel Guard
Millions of leisure and business travelers alike rely on Travel Guard®, AIG Travel’s portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services, to help them recover from unexpected circumstances that can interrupt their travel plans. Through eight wholly owned, state-of-the-art global service centers, customers have access to 24/7 emergency travel assistance, medical and security services with more than 40 languages spoken on-site. We help people travel more and worry less.
How you will create an impact
- Verify agency compensation to be paid/invoiced monthly
- Verify agency overrides are paid monthly/quarterly/annually
- Provide customer service on agency compensation inquiries
- Respond to inquiries accurately, professionally, and timely
- Analyze agency commission trends monthly
- Reconcile Agency Payable and Agency Receivable general ledger accounts to the subledger monthly
- Analyze financial stability of travel suppliers
- Contact payees of uncashed checks and document process (Escheatment)
- Work on collections of past due amounts from agencies
- Annual reporting 1099 information related to agency compensation payments
- Fulfill Internal SOX audit requests
- Create and maintain procedures
- Track time spent per task, client, and AIG legal entity as required
- Other tasks as assigned
What you’ll need to succeed
- 5 years of related experience
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Outlook
- Must be a self-starter and willing to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
- Ability to multi-task within multiple software applications
- Team player with good problem-solving skills who is willing to learn
