Compensation Manager - LTIP Administration
We have an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Manager, Long-Term Incentive Program Administration to join our team. In this role, you will support the organization's leaders to execute AIG's processes related to equity plan administration, including grants, communications, vesting and delivery, financial accounting, share usage and audits of AIG shares awarded under the AIG LTIP globally. This role reports to the Director Executive Compensation.
What you'll do:
- Prepare annual and off-cycle award proposals for approval by the Compensation and Management Resources Committee of the AIG Board or its delegates
- Plan, coordinate, and execute on all processes related to AIG share deliveries, including:
- Partner with AIG Employment Tax, E&Y, AIG legal, AIG HR Shared Services, 40 global payrolls and UBS (AIG's provider of brokerage services for AIG's equity awards), to develop and implement compliant global distribution and withholding plans
- Provide strategic direction on all technical requirements related to equity plan administration including:
- Manage data flow between Workday and UBS, including recordkeeping of the annual and off-cycle award processes, synchronization with respect to equity forfeitures, new hire information, trading window restrictions
- Identify critical changes to the Workday/UBS/Payroll integration to ensure successful data transfer and proper setup for accurate tax calculations
- Develop solutions to accommodate treatment of equity related to Corporate transactions, including IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures, etc.
- Provide ongoing support to active and terminated LTI participants regarding their accounts/awards, and reconciliation of tax withholdings
- Provide ongoing support to Legal, Finance and HR on ad-hoc requests, custom data analytics, and legal matters
- Manage quarterly processes including financial reporting, share usage and forecasting, audit and international regulatory reporting
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated expert level Excel skills
- Deep understanding of HR systems, payroll processes and US taxation
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong team player
- Minimum BA education, preferred in quantitative area, e.g., finance, accounting
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in equity plan administration or related area
For positions based in NYC, the base salary range is $103,000 - $143,000. For positions based in Jersey City, the base salary range is $93,000 - $138,000 . In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
