The Purchasing Manager will ensure that sufficient raw materials and other required materials are procured and ready to create finished products according to the production schedule.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively in both individual and group settings.
- Strong customer service skills with proven ability to complete successful negotiations.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, delegating tasks when appropriate.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in all aspects of purchasing and inventory management.
- Experience in purchasing made-to-order inventory with long lead times.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Thorough understanding of the materials and supplies used in the company.
- Understanding of business and management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant management experience in the aerospace industry working with the manufacturing of composites.
EDUCATION:
Minimum of seven years of manufacturing and purchasing experience in a fast-paced environment.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years of managerial experience in a purchasing role.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Must be proficient in the use of ERP software, Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Materials Resource Planning (MRP) software use and implementation experience desired.
