Accounting Supervisor

AIM HIGHER is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join their growing organization. The Accounting Supervisor will work closely with the accounting team to manage financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and tax audits. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts. To succeed in this role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude and be able to manage a team.

Responsibilities:

• Auditing, A/P & A/R posting, and general accounting
• Provides accurate, prompt accounting for budgeting reports and forecast revenues
• Aids staff with banks, checkouts, and money equivalent procedures
• Data Analysis and Finance Strategy Development
• Participates in regular tax audits and payroll.
• Billing and Reconciliation
• Process monthly and quarterly sales tax reports
• Collaborate with operations on preparations and analysis on job costs report
• Aid with general office duties such as phones, inventory and supplies, processing deposits.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience
• Proven work with as an Accounting Supervisor
• Strong background in GAAP and strength in FP&A
• Excellent verbal presentation, organization, and analytical skills
• Background in food/beverage a PLUS
• Knowledge of QuickBooks & proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & ADP Workforce

Salary Range: $65K - 75K per year (DOE)
