Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Aimergency Connect PsychCare. As a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will contribute your expertise to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to our clients, in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team. We are looking for a APRN who has experience with Pediatric and Family patients. 



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer and manage psychotropic medications, when necessary, in accordance with best practices and guidelines.
  • Provide individual therapy, counseling, and support to clients, incorporating evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other team members to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for each client.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in mental health care.


Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current state license as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health care.
  • Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and therapeutic interventions.
  • Valid Professional Liability Insurance
  • Valid Collaboration Agreement w/ Physician
