What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at AIM Personnel?
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
- Hospitality Accounting Experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Direct Bill Application Tracking
- Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports
- Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepancies
- Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
- Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
- Dealing directly with GL Entries, Bank reconciliations, Budgeting.
- SAM Registrations/Tracking/Updating
- Assist with Purchasing Software Use/Reporting
- $ 55,000 Possibly more based on experience.
