Job Description


American Iron and Metal is currently recruiting for a Skid steer Operator for our location in Cleveland. The qualified candidate is responsible for the handling of materials while operating a skid steer.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Offloading incoming materials from customer or supplier trucks using a forklift and a skid steer.
  • Accurately fill orders from pick lists or sales orders and prepare shipments of finished parts.
  • Operating forklift, skid steer, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • Some general labor duties.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and able to work with multiple departments.


Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with WHMIS
  • Education Required: HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Steel experience is a plus.
  • 2 years Skid Steer experience
