Role Summary

The Director of IT Operations is responsible for the planning and management of AIM’s IT infrastructure with a strong focus on vendor management and the continued implementation of AIM’s 100% cloud and digital services objective. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience with CRM platforms (preferably Microsoft CRM) and Microsoft Azure/Office 365 technologies. The candidate should also have experience with and understanding of digital access and marketing platforms, IT best practices, and project management. Experience with WordPress and Click Dimensions is desirable.

Exceptional customer service focus, and strong interpersonal and writing skills a must.

Responsibilities
· Serve as trusted advisor to the executive team. Provide strategic vision and thought leadership enhancing the adoption and leverage of cloud technologies.

· Manage competing and fluctuating business priorities while implementing scalable solutions and cost-effective delivery of IT services.

· Support AIM’s use of data for decision-making, work closely with internal stakeholders to determine, implement and manage company-wide metrics. Adjust processes and procedures as needed to improve company-wide performance.

· Plan future projects ensuring proper scale and performance of a growing infrastructure.

· Manage IT operating and capital projects from planning to completion, such as infrastructure improvements, platform migrations and upgrades. Identify and implement future technology solutions.

· Working closely with internal stakeholders, determine and implement best business process and system solutions. Ensure that IT solutions and systems are flexible and understandable to meet the current and future demands of the organization.

· Working with marketing, support the functionality of AIM’s website.

· Be AIM’s “go-to” IT professional on-site. Support users with various levels of IT expertise.

· Assures adoption of all technologies by users through training, establishment and monitoring of processes, writing SOPs.

· Manage external IT vendors. Work closely with external IT vendors and advisors on short- and long-term IT goals as well as day-to-day operations.

· Manage IT related equipment and devices such as laptops, telephones and AV.

· Create and manage budget and staffing plans for IT. Currently, there is one direct report.

Qualifications
· 5 years of experience in IT Operations

· 3 years of management experience.

· Bachelor’s Degree.

· Current working knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Dynamics ERP and CRM platforms.

· Basic IT infrastructure/IT Security knowledge in a cloud/SaaS environment

· Experience configuring data fields and workflows in Dynamics CRM

· Demonstrable experience in IT project management and execution.

· Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

· Experience maintaining business data und good understanding of business processes

· Solid understanding of API’s and web frontend technologies

· Experience evaluating, implementing/integrating and managing event platforms such as Go to Webinar and Zoom

· Working knowledge with BI technologies and tools (SSRS, SQL)

· Experience managing IT vendors
