EV Charger Hardware and Software Development Engineer

### Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to contribute to the hardware and embedded software development lifecycle for electric vehicle (EV) charger systems. This role will focus on the design and development of scalable and optimized DC input charging systems, crucial for the deployment of renewable energy power systems in microgrid settings.

### Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement power conversion hardware, software, and systems from initial requirements through to production and commercial deployment.
• Develop hardware platforms for Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, including system testing and debugging.
• Collaborate with embedded software development teams to review code and design.
• Analyze system resources to enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability.
• Integrate and validate new product designs in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Support hardware quality assurance and optimize input/output performance.
• Provide post-production support for deployed systems.
• Participate in hardware design and development, including microcontroller family selection, hardware design, PCB layout, and peripheral hardware interfaces.
• Assess third-party and open-source software tools, including development tools.
• Manage hardware prototyping, thermal and electrical testing, and the UL/CSA listing process.

• **Salary Range:** $135,000 - $155,000
