Duties/Responsibilities
Design and development of electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings using industry-standard software and tools.
Research and select appropriate electrical components, including validation of U.S content, to ensure optimal system performance.
Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and make necessary adjustments to meet performance goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management, and mechanical, software and systems engineers, to ensure successful project execution.
Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to mechanical design, both independently and as part of a team.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive continuous improvement in our designs.
Required Skills/Abilities
Proficiency in electrical design software.
Strong knowledge of electrical components and their applications.
Knowledge of PCB design and layout.
Skilled with electrical simulation software and tools.
Knowledge of defense industry regulations and standards.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience in electrical design engineering, preferably with defense programs such as missile systems and loitering munitions.
Experience with re-engineering existing products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
