Our client is an accomplished Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Consulting firm serving the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, Philadelphia suburbs, and surrounding areas. Since 1987, our client has built its reputation on a core of solid, professional staff members and an enduring commitment to client satisfaction by thoroughly and efficiently documenting practical well executed MEP designs. Our designs include education, healthcare, municipal, and religious building construction.
Responsibilities:
Facility-level design- including power distribution, lighting systems, and low-voltage systems.
Conduct related system calculations
Attendance at design meetings
Writing technical specifications
Collaboration with CAD/BIM Technicians to generate construction documents
Answer RFI’s
Process submittals
Team-up with our construction administration staff to solve any challenges that arise during construction
Accountable for the generation of tight well executed documents that can be easily bid and constructed from, while providing technical support for the project through the construction process.
Required Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required 1-5 years experience in electrical engineering/design in the construction industry Revit software and experience with MEP Design Proficiency in AutoCAD required, familiarity with Revit is a plus.
EIT certificate and/or PE is a plus but not required
Knowledge of building codes and local ordinances
Minimum Requirements:
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
Must be able to obtain and maintain clean records for Federal and State Criminal History and Child Abuse clearances
Must be able to function in a team environment and guide multiple projects from conception to construction

Salary : $60,000 - $100,000
