Instruct small group sessions to demonstrate skills and coach student skills performance in compliance with student-faculty ratios. 2. Follow College and department procedures for student evaluation and grading. 3. Evaluate student performance and document student skill proficiencies. (Evaluation occurs both informally through skills check-off activities and formally in skills evaluation sessions.) 4. Present individual topic didactic instruction, as needed—does not present majority of course material. 5. Perform or provide student supervision of the repair and maintenance of equipment. 6. Assist with the setup and tear down of skill stations. 7. Assist the primary instructor with assuring compliance with outside agency regulations Minimum Qualifications: 1. Associate's degree from an accredited school, college, or university. 2. Must possess a current, unrestricted EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, or EMT Paramedic Certification. 3. Minimum of two years of EMS experience 4. Must hold BLS Instructor CPR certification or qualify for the same within one month of hire. 5. Hold or qualify for a part-time, post-secondary vocational instructor's teaching credential as a Health Occupations Instructor issued by the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education. 6. Upon inquiry, questions concerning vocational credentials will be referred to the appropriate College staff member. Applicant is responsible for all credentialing fees. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in related fields. 2. Experience in a community college teaching environment, curriculum writing and alternative delivery instruction. 3. Five years, or greater of patient-oriented EMS experience. 4. Computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, D2L). 5. Evidence of prior teaching/training in health occupation related area(s). 6.
