Google Workspace Administrator
AINS has an exciting opportunity for a junior software engineer with 1 or more years of hands on Google Workspace Administration experience. The scope of work includes: Configure Google workspace applications and security policies for Google Workspace apps, monitoring of apps, review and implementation of new Google Workspace features, support on-going operations and maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills and be a US Citizen with an Active secret clearance. The primary work location is Washington, DC 20024 (L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station). Candidates must have the ability and interest to work on a range of different types of projects and business processes.
● Work independently and collaboratively on multi-disciplined project team
● Experience in Administrating Google MyDrives and Google Shared Drives
● Experience in providing training and training materials and limited to step by step guides and power points on how to prep and migrate data to a Shared Drive.
● Actively assist with routine syncs meetings that will be used for open Q A and customer requirements sessions to support the migrations.
● Actively involved in the deployment, configuration and testing of G Suite applications and new features.
● Work in a Tier II Customer Service capacity to help resolve helpdesk tickets on Shared Drives, etc.
Required Skills and Experience
● 1 or more years of professional Google Workspace application administration or G Suite development experience
● 1 or more years of experience in using Google Admin Console
● Keep informed of Google updates, best-practices, and new features; conducting tests of new features and submitting change requests for deployment
● Excellent analytical and assessment skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Self-motivated and ability to work well in a team.
● Exposure to Agile approaches to software development.
Other desired skills:
● Familiarity with ServiceNow
Education
● Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university (Computer Science or Math preferred)
Security Clearance
● Active or Interim Secret clearance required
