Digital Media Specialist-HAWAI'I Magazine

HAWAI'I Magazine (www.HawaiiMagazine.com) has an immediate opening for an entry level position working with our editorial and sales team to create engaging digital content that reconnects our global audience to Hawaii. Job duties include but aren't limited to the following:

• manage and strengthen engagement through our social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok
• support the creation of digital content across our website, newsletters, social media, and podcast by the assigned deadlines
• Manage digital projects and online ad fulfillment
• create and manage digital media reports
• staying current with digital media industry technologies and the latest trends and provide recommendations incorporating industry best practices

Requirements:

• minimum 2 years of professional work experience as a digital media specialist or similar role
• bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, communications or equivalent professional work experience
• proficiency with social media platforms
• strong verbal and written communication skills
• minimum 2 years of professional experience using content management systems and Google Ad Manager
• basic HTML/CSS coding skills and video editing skills are a plus
