Our Service Team is the heart of AIR Communities! Service Technicians make our communities a great place to live by providing outstanding service to our residents. To say thank you, we provide our service technicians with the opportunity to make one of our beautiful communities their home!

You will be placed in a job title that aligns with your skills, experience, and community needs.
Current levels available include:
Service Technician 1- You will provide exemplary service to residents and team members.
- With general direction, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs (i.e., replace AC filters and light bulbs, repair and paint walls, clean common areas, assist with apartment turns, etc.)
Service Technician 2- You will provide exemplary service to residents and team members.
- With limited direction, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs (i.e., completion of basic apartment turn, troubleshoot and repair plumbing leaks, install and replace sinks, faucets, and toilets. Troubleshoot and replace basic electrical components, etc.)
Qualifications
Service Technician 1:
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment or relevant training/education program.
- Entry level skills in two or more technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
Service Technician 2:
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment or relevant training/education program.
- Basic skills in two or more technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
As an AIR Service Technician, you must have:
- A reliable mode of transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
- Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to read, write, and speak English

- Expected pay rate of $21.00-23.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
