Description

The Technical Support Representative - Dental Equipment Layout Specialist will play a crucial role in our organization by collaborating with dealer representatives to design and plan optimal plumbing and equipment layouts for dental offices.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the technical requirements of compressed air, vacuum and nitrous oxide systems specific to dental practices, and possess a strong background in installing and servicing dental equipment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Work closely with dealer representatives to assess the needs of dental offices and design suitable equipment layouts.
• Read, interpret, and modify floor plans to ensure seamless installation and functionality of dental equipment.
• Create and revise plumbing schematics and equipment layouts using CAD software
• Provide technical support and guidance on the installation and servicing of dental equipment to dealers and end users.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide custom solutions.
• Train dealer representatives and end users on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dental equipment technology.

Work Experience Requirements :

• Proven experience in installing and servicing dental equipment (or comparable experience) with focus on air, N2O and vacuum lines.
• Strong understanding of dental office needs for compressed air, vacuum and nitrous oxide systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting floor plans and executing 3D / CAD drawings.
• Technical degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems and provide effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.

Core Skills Requirements :

• CAD certification or demonstrable experience with CAD software.
• Experience in a customer-facing role within the dental equipment industry.
• Familiarity with the technical and regulatory requirements of dental office operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional and interdepartmental teams.
• Ability to adapt easily to shifting project priorities.

Education Requirements :

AS Degree, Technical School or equivalent level of business experience

Annual Salary : $75,000- $90,000

$75,000- $90,000
