We are a top 5-star rated and reviewed growing and expanding HVAC and Plumbing Company. We are looking to add a full-time Financial Administrator to our growing team. The position would be Monday - Friday located at our New Castle, DE office.
Our Financial Administrator would need to have critical thinking, be proficient in math and account with a solid understanding of accounting, financial reporting principle and practices. Must have outstanding report writing skills and with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets
- Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets
- Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations.
- Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
- Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation
- Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
- Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Complete end of month financial ledgers
- Fixed asset depreciation booking, and depreciation schedules
- Payroll Processing

- Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent report writing, communication skills
- Advanced competency in Microsoft office, Accounting Software packages
- Self-Starter, take initiative, motivated
- Home Service Industry experience a plus
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years experience in Accounting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or Business Administration
- Excel Skills: V-lookups, Charting, graphing, formulas, pivot tables
- SAGE Intacct software modules or Quickbooks experience
- CPA Experienced preferred but not necessary
