Purpose
Performs various complex accounting duties according to AER policy and standard accounting theory. Duties include coordinating, preparing, and analyzing financial information and reports that provide summary information for management use in making financial decisions. Analyzing and adjusting General Ledger Accounts. Resolving issues and answering questions pertaining to General Ledger Accounts and its interaction with the company business system. Represents the Accounting Department as the contact for accounting issues. Attracts, retains, and effectively engages department personnel.
Responsibilities
o Prepares various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports or statements
o Records routine or recurring transactions
o Gathers, reviews, and analyzes statistical information
o Makes necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report information
o Manages all accounting activities to ensure that financial processes and information are accurate, timely, and contain adequate internal controls
o Manages the preparation of all financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, reports to stakeholders, tax returns, and reports for governmental regulatory agencies and
o Ensures equipment information in the dealer business system is accurate and timely updated
o Examines accounting information contained in reports and exhibits, traces and reconciles unusual variances
o Performs complex account reconciliations
o Communicates with others in the organization to answer accounting questions or resolve issues
o Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
o Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
o Proficient in file management to maintain accurate records and easy retrieval of information.
o Demonstrated ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment.
o Experience in training development to enhance staff performance.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
o 1 years in an accounting or bookkeeper position
o Understanding of financial concepts such as Fixed Asset Management, Book Capitalization/Depreciation, Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Operating Return on Assets (NORA)
o Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
o Knowledge of accounting systems
o High level of attention to detail and accuracy
o Administrative experience: 5 years minimum
Degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
