AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR


AirQuest Aviation at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport is looking to hire a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team! We are a Part 145 repair station along with being a fixed-base operator (FBO) with two locations including Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport (KBTP) and Beaver County Airport (KBVI). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

In this position, you play a vital role in our company. Every day, you arrive at our airport ready to perform a variety of important tasks, including auditing work orders for FAA compliance, creating log entries, filing, handling warranty claims, creating log entries, and invoicing.

Using your organizational and time-management skills, you perform maintenance tasks efficiently and on-schedule. Using your verbal and written skills, you communicate issues to our maintenance team to help research and resolve problems. No matter what, you bring your best every day!

Exhibiting great flexibility, you complete important additional projects and tasks as they arise. Ensuring that our planes are flight-ready gives you a deep sense of satisfaction, and you feel great knowing you are part of a successful team!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; continued education preferred
  • Airframe and Powerplant License required
  • 5 years aircraft maintenance experience required
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Working knowledge of maintenance programs i.e., TFBO, CAMP, Flight Docs, Tracksal, etc.
  • Working knowledge of FAA compliance for Aircraft maintenance
