We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Airthings for Business Software team and bring our solutions to the next level.
Airthings is a tech company creating indoor air quality monitors and solutions for homeowners and building managers. We are headquartered in the heart of Oslo with customers in more than 50 countries. We are 135 employees and counting, including scientists, engineers, developers and visionaries. Airthings is on a mission to ensure people around the world take control of their air quality through simple, sustainable and accessible technology solutions – making radon and air quality solutions an essential and universal element for every building or home.
The team you will be part of is responsible for our web dashboard, a building analytics product providing customers with insights based on sensor data. Our main challenge is making millions of data points actionable – enabling building managers to work more efficiently. What buildings are worth spending time on in order to improve air quality, optimize energy usage, or both, through different ways of visualizing data.
The team consists of 3 backend developers as well as a frontend developer, a UX designer and a product manager. As well we work closely with our team of data scientists. We work agile (with just enough process) as a cross functional team and are continuously improving the way we work.
We are looking for a team player, intellectually curious and eager to grow with the company.
As a frontend developer in the team you will take ownership of our frontend – developing new features as well as making updates and improvements to the code base. The frontend is built on React-redux with sagas, scss modules tested with react testing library.
- You are an awesome programmer and have good experience with React or similar.
- You have a master or a bachelor in software engineering or similar.
- You have at least 4 years of experience as a frontend developer.
- You have experience working in agile cross functional teams, you share your opinions and challenge the UX and collaborate closely with design and product.
- You have opinions on best practices when it comes to development methodologies, testing and code quality.
- You care about building the right thing and building the thing right by exploring how to solve problems for our users together with the rest of the team.
- Nice if you have some backend knowledge but this is not a must.
