The primary responsibility of the Flooring Specialist is to facilitate field installations. In this position the incumbent will be making sure all installation quality expectations are met, assuring timely completion of installs, and prompt customer service. The Flooring Specialist will work directly with the Corporate Office to provide assistance to ensure expectations are met for all field operations. Responsible for the daily operations, overall quality control, and expense management of their territory within AIS Installations. The position requires travel within the region and schedule coordination with team members inside AIS Installations.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Manage installation process, capacity, compliance, and regulatory standards for every installation crew in territory.
- Monitor efficiency of service by auditing calls, complaints, time to install data, busted jobs, recruitment of subcontractors
- Resolve personnel and performance problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
- Monitor the hiring, onboarding, and service requests of installers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years flooring experience
· Thorough knowledge of all flooring installations (tile, carpet, wood, laminate, LVP)
· Ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences (e.g., peer teams, management, business partners, clients)
· Time management and ability to multitask
· Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
· Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
· Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
· Self-motivated, dedicated, and goal oriented
· Must work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment and be flexible to change with business priorities
· Proficient skills in all office software systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
· Valid driver’s license
· Pass a background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
