Job Overview
Job Type: Part-time
Expected Hours: 8am-12pm OR 4pm-8pm and every other Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 4-day or 5-day work week.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
· Determine the full scope of individual patient needs; evaluate and assess medical urgency
· Provide direct, individual care and support and implement any orders necessary to accomplish patient care
· Perform patient intake process and ensure providers are running on schedule
· Complete documentation with eClinicalWorks (EMR) of all care provided
· Organize medical supply inventory and place orders
· Support upkeep of medical instruments
· Adhere to Aizer Health’s medical protocols, policies and procedures
· Coordinate with the Call Center and front desk to monitor appointment schedules
· Demonstrate clinical knowledge and technical skills as well as a willingness to learn new skills
· Assume role of patient advocate and respect patient confidentially/HIPAA requirements
· Exhibit flexibility in work scheduling and is receptive to assignment changes
· Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate empathy in order to build good patient relationships
· Performing miscellaneous tasks as assigned to meet the needs of the department as team grows and evolves
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must have a strong commitment to a team dynamic as well as the ability to take initiative
· Must have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to effectively relate to all medical staff and patients
· Must possess a strong work ethic
· Comprehension and deductive reasoning
· Ability to learn new techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
· CPR certified a plus
· Phlebotomy a plus
· Electronic Medical Records experience a plus
