Landscape and Construction Assistant Manager

Overview:
AJs Landscaping & Design is seeking an experienced landscape professional for the role of Landscape & Construction Assistant Manager. The qualified candidate should possess broad knowledge of all aspects of landscaping common in the Houston market.

Duties:

- Assist in various construction projects such as building, gardening, tree care, and irrigation.

- Knowledge of plants, hardscape, masonry, carpentry, excavating, grading and drainage

- Explore and analyze the needs of high-end residential and commercial clients

-Ability to effectively communicate present information & respond to questions

-Ability to manage scheduling process with subcontractors, employees, and clients.

- Perform landscaping duties including lawn care, groundskeeping, and landscape maintenance.
- Support the construction team with tasks as needed.
- Supervise and lead small teams on specific projects.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and tools.

-Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong leadership skills to supervise small teams effectively.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.

-Able to pass a drug and background screen

-Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
