Out client is seeking a mid-level candidate for their AppSec team. Application Security Certifications are required along with Application Security Assessments. Candidates must also have a background in development. This candidate will work in application security and be someone who specifically has done application security assessments.
The client is seeking an Application Security Analyst to perform security assessment of applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to collect information related to the security assessment and prepares the assessment to be executed.
- Supports one or more complex business processes.
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
- Serves as a liaison between the application teams and the AppSec organization to support the application security assessment and to meet user needs.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field.
- 2-4 years’ experience required.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages to comprehend reading code and basic functions.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Project management skills to handle diverse projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details.
- Ability to increase operating efficiency by producing high quality technical solutions.
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
