Product Manager

The client is seeking a Product Manager II in financial services to develop a strategy for designing and implementing financial/mortgage products. The product Manager is responsible for collaborating with stakeholder to effectively market our financial products and services.

Job Responsibilities:
a. Support the operational work associated with our team onboarding of several new data dimension into our hierarchy system of record.
b. Implement governance and data quality process and analysis for new data dimensions in connection with the Agile COE team This includes reviewing newly created data dimension, ensuring new data attributes align to other systems including JIRA.
c. Helping drive/support overall new data dimension data quality governance via detailed reporting and stakeholder engagement.
d. Support the new data enrichment processes associated with onboarding the new data fields and data metadata into our system of record.
e. Developing and implementing business user guidance via various platforms including presentations, job aids and confluence board guidance.
f. Provide training and support to business teams and users to help drive accurate data into system of record.
g. Supporting our FP&A from a data reconciliation / quality perspective.
h. Collect and analyze data on team structure.
i. Engage project managers and senior leadership in to developing financial products.
j. Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
k. Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
l. Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
m. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial and marketing software.

• Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Mortgage banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial products.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
• 5-7 years related experience required.

Everything is cloud based and then reported through Tableau for users to access

Looking for product management experience, they will own this new data set and manage it end to end
Will speak with various stakeholders to implement a new dimension of data that is going into a cloud system to manage various hierarchies, prior product development/management exp required
Will build governance framework for the new data
Build job aids and guidance for users that will submit the information
Analytical skills – help with validations, Excel is a must, SQL preferred
Developing new processes, responsible for maintenance/managing input of the requests, approving requests, and following up on their completion
Required Skills:

Product Management experience (someone to own this new data set and manage it end to end)
Analytical skills – Excel required
Communication skills – will work with various teams, users, and senior managers
Skilled at creating and delivering presentations
Intermediate Tableau – data validations are completed here, should be able to manipulate and view data (plus if they can create tableau dashboard)
Data governance experience
