Position Summary:

This entry level position consists of claims entry, investigation and recovery of various claims issues related to customer deductions, container demurrage, truck detention, quantity shortages, quality issues and transit related cargo loss damage claims to include other various administrative & clerical tasks to support Corporate Risk & Insurance Department as needed.

Scope of Responsibility:

Data entry and administration for claims processing including but not limited to file creations, credit notes and denials

• Value thresholds claim administration for AJC Logistics and AJC International; investigate, file, and recover assigned claims
• Aged inventory and salvage tracking
• Inventory reconciliation adjustments
• Domestic truck detention/container demurrage
• Assist team on claims tasks assigned to your responsibility
• Manage all personal claims per corporate standards

• Experience requirements: Our “must haves” (non-negotiable)
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Data entry experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
