Position Summary
This hands-on internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced production environment. You will work closely with our engineering team to support various projects and initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency, quality, and safety of our production processes.
Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of engineering projects within the production plant.
- Conduct process analysis and provide recommendations for improvements in production efficiency and cost reduction.
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to resolve engineering and technical issues.
- Collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement initiatives and project evaluations.
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to the development of safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the engineering manager or senior engineers.

Position Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
- Basic knowledge of production processes and machinery used in the food industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools or similar programs.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic production environment.
