Job Purpose
The Housekeeping Laundry Attendant position will support various team members and guests to deliver housekeeping services throughout the entire property.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
· Retrieve linen from guest rooms, banquets, outlets and other areas of the hotel that may need linen materials cleaned.
· Sort, load, unload and fold linen and other items.
· Inspect linen for stains, tears, and rips to ensure pristine look of items and report any deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper for prompt repair/resolution.
· Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys and supplies at all times to protect and preserve hotel property.
· Press sheets and pillow cases.
· Soak stained items for scrubbing and washing.
· Sort all dirty items collected at end of day into bins for morning washing.
· Ensure Laundry room is maintained and stocked to ensure a clean and orderly work area.
· All other duties as assigned.

· Able to receive instruction from a supervisor and carry it out quickly and accurately, with a positive attitude
- Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning, use of cleaning products and operating cleaning equipment.

Education & Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent preferred
· 1-2 years of hotel housekeeping experience preferred
Work Environment
· Under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold)
· Under variable noise levels
· Around fumes and/or odor hazards
· Around dust and/or mite hazards
· Around chemicals
· Around bio-hazards
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and stand for hours at a time
- Ability to bend, push, pull and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position with expectation to work the necessary business hours to deliver high quality experiences for our guests and to ensure the professional operation of the Housekeeping Department.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is not a supervisory position.
