Financial Controller

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Financial Controller is responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering internal financial functions, external reporting and administrative functions.
• Partner with the senior management to develop and implement financial plans.
• Must develop detailed profit-&-loss analysis, financial analysis, and overall business analysis.
• The Financial Controller must be responsible for accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, main cashiers, business plan assessment, asset management, governmental reporting, grants accounting and reporting, foundation accounting and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The Financial Controller must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related business field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Must hold a CPA
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of Finance or Accounting experience in a healthcare setting. Non-profit organization experience is highly desired.
• The Financial Controller must have 5 years of management experience.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Thorough knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems
• Must have experience in the development and publication of advertising media.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to train, supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinates.
