**Job Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team in a casual dining setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and be knowledgeable about food industry standards. The successful applicant will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be proficient in managing orders and tables using Toast POS. **Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring that every meal is served promptly and to the highest standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the kitchen, dining room, and bar.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including food allergies and dietary restrictions, and assist with menu recommendations when necessary.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to food safety and handling, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Manage time effectively to ensure that orders are fulfilled promptly and that tables are turned efficiently.
- Provide helpful and friendly support to other staff members, including bussers, hosts, and kitchen staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve knowledge of fine dining and food industry practices.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a server.
- Proven experience with Toast POS is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, including knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables and orders simultaneously.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of quality in every aspect of the dining experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
