What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Akam?
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Position overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the building is properly maintained in proper working conditions. Performs general repair and maintenance such as repairing pipes, tanks, and water fixtures, unclogging toilets and drains, and handling various residential plumbing requirements. It will also perform general repairs and maintenance such as painting and electrical.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Painting repair
- Plumbing Repair
- Light plumbing
- Electrical repairs
- Minor carpentry
- Other maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- H.S Diploma is required
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented
- Strong time management
- Maintenance experience (preferably in a condo, HOA or residential setting)
