Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate to provide creative solutions and work to continuously improve for our customers and our team.

Partner with the best

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be an end-to-end trusted advisor. Working with our customers, while managing their engagement and technical solutions with our platform. You will build close relationships with these customers. You will creatively tackle some of the biggest challenges on the internet.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating and working with account teams to evaluate customer architecture and deliver the best of class solutions
  • Ensuring customer success by focusing on best practice and our portfolio, helping them develop a long-term strategy
  • Partnering cross-functionally to review and ensure integration efficiency, deliver high quality service and ensure customer engagement
  • Participating in internal projects to contribute to best practices and improve our methodology and quality of integrations

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry
  • Be familiar with the Internet, including technologies and fundamental protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP and HTTP
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills, including acting as a facilitator and having contingency planning
  • Show experience of managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully and influencing stakeholders across the teams

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $85,276 - $127,752/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
