Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking a .NET Web Developer. The .NET Web Developer has very strong experience in the full stack design, development and implementation of data driven applications, a strong focus on user experience and a drive for new challenges and problem solving. The .NET Web Developer will be working in a professional and collegial team environment; fast-paced, leading edge group focused on the delivery of high quality projects and meeting critical deadlines. After hours work may be required for some projects. Akerman has adopted a hybrid workplace environment, and this position can be based in any of our U.S. offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, build, test, deploy and maintain new sites, features and components to support a variety of internal and external data – driven business process initiatives
- Full stack application development experience is required for this position
- Strong communication abilities with project stakeholders
- Assisting with content management needs for existing and future websites
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Expert in C#, Microsoft ASP.Net, MVC and jQuery
- Very strong experience with T-SQL and Entity Framework
- Experience with source control, preferably Team Foundation Server
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes
- Application of software development best practices (SDLC, SOLID principles)
- Knowledge and application of web security best practices
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Prior experience with Bootstrap, AngularJS, and various other front-end technologies
- Experience with mobile development
- Experience working on high-traffic, responsive websites and enterprise applications
- Experience developing with a domain driven design methodology
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline oriented department
