Duration: 1-Year ContractBackground:

The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) Surgeon’s Office is seeking a licensed General Dentist to provide dental examination services, enhancing the dental readiness of Soldiers in line with AR 40-501 and DoDI 6025.19 standards. This role is crucial in achieving the Department of Defense’s (DoD) goal of maintaining a 100% dental readiness, supporting the overall Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) of fully medically ready Soldiers. The contractor will not perform dental treatments but will focus on examinations and screenings, contributing to the national defense's medical preparedness.Key Responsibilities:Conduct annual dental screening examinations for Soldiers.Document and track examination results using DENCLASS.Ensure dental screening and remediation are completed for at least 90% of Soldiers.Provide responsive and flexible services to meet the dynamic needs of the government.Work Hours and Location:Service hours are from 08:00 to 16:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.Work locations include Camp Fretterd Military Reservation (CFMR), 5555 Rue Saint Lo Drive, BLDG 205, Reisterstown, Maryland 21136, and The Flight Surgeon’s Clinic, 2624 Fairview Point Road, Building E-6814, Edgewood, Maryland 21040.Qualifications:Current and active license to practice as a dentist in the State of Maryland.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Other Requirements:Teleworking is not authorized.Candidate must be able to maintain a stable and continuous presence at designated work locations as specified.Work flexibility for alternate locations and hours as authorized by the government.This role does not authorize the provision of dental treatments but focuses solely on examinations and screenings.
