Responsibilities:
- Assist team with new store openings and rebuilds
- Install appliances and equipment
- Check functionality of safety systems
- Report to and take direction from facilities/maintenance manager
Requirements:
- Maintain a valid Drivers license
- Full time/40 hour per week commitment based out of Chicago with a flexible schedule
- Following safety protocols in the work space
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel around Chicago-land area and out of state
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing ladders
- Must consent to and pass background check
- Facilitating a clean and organized work space
The Ideal Candidate Has/Is:
- Basic construction knowledge
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Woodworking, carpentry, building fixtures, etc.
- Basic technical skills (i.e., respond to emails, manage Zendesk ticketing)
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
- Willingness to perform job responsibilities outside of typical business hours and occasionally respond to urgent needs on nights and weekends
Pay from: $17.00/ hour (subject to experience)
