Akkodis is seeking a Buyer for a 6 month contract to hire position with an Aerospace client located in Bothell, WA. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience within a Buyer/Supply Chain role, manufacturing or aerospace experience is a plus but not a must.
Salary
- $30/hr - $40/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Execute the tactical procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and tracking order status to ensure on-time delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, program management, production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure alignment on procurement requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
Collaborate with the strategic sourcing team to support strategic initiatives and contribute to long-term supplier relationship development.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Tactical Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field - Nice to have but required.
