What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calibration Technician position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician for a 12-month contract, Temp-To-Hire position with a client located in Temecula CA. We are ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the manufacturing/ health industries and at least 2 years of experience as calibration technician
Pay Range: $20-$22/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Shift: 2nd shift (2 PM and 10 PM)
Job Description:
Performs calibration functions on all testing and measuring equipment throughout all Manufacturing and Research operations.
Performs calibration according to written and automated procedures on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures as defined by the calibration schedule. Coordinates the calibration with a certified outside source.
Knowledge of 4:1, Tolerances and Guard banding.
Maintains clear and concise records to facilitate timely problem identification, development of department procedures and to comply with internal and external regulations.
This position is Nonexempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Position involves standing, bending , sitting Daily.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs HS diploma.
