Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
Pay rate: $26/hr
Conversion Salary: $55,000/year
Contract: 3-6 month contract, then permanent position
NOT OPEN to C2C or Sponsorship
Key Skills:
- Working with data, spreadsheets, systems of record, data clean and management for accuracy in reporting and business operations.
- Experience working under manager and direct communication with different business departments, i.e. sales, accounting, operations for resolving system related data.
- Experience using TEAMS or Virtual meeting application like WebEx, Zoom.
- Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint
Job Description Summary
The Junior Data Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end master data customer maintenance processes within the company. This person is responsible for data quality, processes, and business rules. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate with both internal and external department teams. This role provides a great opportunity to impact and learn several different aspects of the organization, in addition to direct interactions with leadership throughout the organization. He/she will be responsible for working with the various business area leads to ensure cross-team processes are efficient and master data is consistent, accurate and compliant across applications. He/she will need a strong work ethic and the ability to assist with daily coordination of the credit/data analyst team. The ideal candidate will must demonstrate the ability to coach, motivate and train.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of customer master data
- Responsible for understanding the end-to-end processes for maintaining customer master across business areas
- Work with IT to coordinate and define business user impacts of MDM application changes including resolving issues and planning for enhancements and upgrades.
- Perform daily data clean up routines to support the Credit & Data Integrity team.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Assist in dispute resolution and escalation management.
- Provide detailed and accurate reports as needed for the credit & data analysts.
- Facilitate sharing of best practice and learnings.
Qualifications
• Establishes good working relationships with business owners, and supporting the governance structure to ensure on-going data accuracy and completeness
• Standard MS Office skill set including Outlook, Visio and Power Point
• Intermediate in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
• Experience with data structures, relations and processes
• Strong background in technology and good numerical analytical ability
• Demonstrates competency in understanding and correcting data discrepancies; reading and translating data models; data querying; identifying data anomalies and root cause analysis;
Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information technology, engineering or business administration, Management Information Systems, Finance, Sciences or related area or equivalent experience
• Or 3-4 years of work experience in related fields
- Must have high school diploma
