Akkodis is seeking a Scale Service Technician with a client located in Salisbury, MD. The successful candidate will calibrate scales and troubleshoot any issues with scales including small lab balancing.
Pay/Salary Range: $21.00-/hr - $24.00/hr |
Scale Service Technician job responsibilities include
Background is working with hands on machines and excellent troubleshooters
Computer skills. Microsoft Outlook, do work orders, check emails
Service Techs: Calibrating scales, putting weights on the scales to match 50lbs = 50 lbs.
Troubleshooting, traveling to customer, working on equipment that is not working right
Installs - small scales maybe individually, big scales like truck scales are a team of techs.
Anything from small lab balance, truck scale...
QUALIFICATIONS
A High School diploma is necessary; however, preference will be given to candidates with an associate degree or higher in electronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
Mechanical and Electrical skills on any type of equipment in auto or farming industry
Excellent troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn
